For over two decades Diane Van Laningham has had a dream of sharing
her family’s incredible mustard with connoisseurs of fine foods everywhere.
After partnering with her brother, Dennis Van Laningham, the dream has
become a reality as we launch the first mustards in the City of Roses
Creamy Mustard line.
Your
taste buds are sure to be indulged by City of Roses GRAND
MARNIER ® and All Natural TANGY
TRIPLE SEC, as they are unlike any mustard in the marketplace.
Made in small batches, our unique butter and egg base provides the creamy
texture and rich flavor while the use of distilled spirits provides
a zest that is hard to resist.
Our
mustard is the perfect accompaniment as a dip or sauce to your favorite
cheeses, meats, fish and vegetables. Combine our mustard with mayonnaise
for a great artichoke sauce or with olive oil and various flavored vinegars
for a delicious salad dressing; you could also use it as a glaze for
ham, pork loin or salmon. Use it to liven up any of your special recipes,
but whatever you do, do not rule out the usual sandwiches, hot dogs
and hamburgers- the options are simply too numerous to mention.
City
of Roses mustards are currently available in two flavors, GRAND
MARNIER ® with its unique orange zest and the All
Natural TANGY TRIPLE SEC with a spicy
zing and a bit more of a bite. Additional products in our extensive
line of recipes, based on Northwest handcrafted beer, wines and distilled
spirits, will be rolled out as soon as they pass our high standards
in the test kitchen!
